Going back to DW in Dec. for our 3rd time, our 4 year old is tall enough to Space Mountain but I heard it is single seat only? Is that true? I am concerned that if we are sitting with him, he may try to get out of his seat.

    Hi Connie!

Congrats on your son reaching this fun milestone! On Space Mountain, it's true that riders sit in a single seat (one behind the other), with three guests per rocket, and two rockets connecting allowing for 6 guests total. There is a lap bar that comes down on each rider. (I still hold onto might be one of my favorite rides, but I still lack the courage to wave both arms in the air!) If you ride with your son, you might find it better to sit behind him, and then you can reach your hands onto his shoulders for encouragement. Hopefully this helps you.

Ultimately, my older son has not braved Space Mountain. He's visited a few times since he met the height requirement, but he still finds the Barnstormer thrilling enough!

Hope you have a magical vacation!
