    i just got back from a disney vacation with my family. We had a great time and loved staying at POR. We noticed some of the buses said BELLE on them. What does that mean?

    Hi Leigh! Port Orleans (both Riverside and French Quarter) is one of my favorite resorts, it's so scenic and relaxing! I'm happy you enjoyed it! I too, notice little things like the bus names and wonder the story behind them, so I'm glad you asked.

    I did some checking and it looks like when buses are not picking up guests but in an area where guests are waiting, drivers will occasionally switch their marquee to a character name so as not to confuse guests looking to board a particular bus. I guess they will change the names every few months, so next time you visit, you could see a different name!
