We are going back to Disney in October and I was wondering if the characters actually meet guests in the grass around the castle like you see on the commercials? I have never seen it.

    Hi Megan,

The Rose Garden area near Cinderella's Castle in the Magic Kingdom is usually reserved for special events. At this time, I'm not aware of any character greetings that are available in this area.

In December 2007, as an inaugural WDW Moms Panelist, I was in awe of having our pictures taken in this area with Mickey Mouse. It's one of my favorite memories.

Feel free to write Guest Communications with your suggestion for a Meet 'n Greet area at:
Walt Disney World Guest Communications PO Box 10040. Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830-0040.

Enjoy a wonderful visit in October!
