Going back to Disney in March 2012, very excited. Last time only did Magic Kingdom and Hollywood. We would like to take our 8 year old to Epcot and Animal Kingdom. What are some things that will be great for her and what things should we avoid that r scary

    Hi Heather!

Epcot and Disney's Animal Kingdom are two of my boys' favorite parks!  So glad you are giving them a go this time!  In Epcot, The Seas with Nemo and Friends is a huge, HUGE favorite!  They also really enjoy the Gran Fiesta Tour starring the Three Caballeros as well.  They also enjoy Maelstrom--although some can find the trolls a bit scary.  They also LOVE to spend time at Innoventions.  Lots of fun, interactive (ahem...learning) experiences for the kids.  Also, don't miss IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth!

Moving on to Disney's Animal Kingdom....they really enjoy Kilimanjaro Safaris, and Maharajah Jungle Trek and the Pangani Rainforest Expedition.  The 3-D movie, It's Tough to be a Bug can be a little frightening for little ones, so I'd either skip it, or sit in the back or near the exits for an quick way out.  It's a great show, though!  Dinosaur is a great ride, but is pretty scary for the younger ones.  Dinoland has some good family fun as well, such as The Boneyard.  Finding Nemo - The Musical and Festival of the Lion King are 2 don't miss shows--make time to see them!

    Have a magical vacation!
