We are going back to disney for our 3rd family visit. Both times before we have stayed at CBR. We LOVE it there but our trying to decide if the Wilderness Lodge would be a good change. We love the laid back feel of CBR..... any thoughts?

    Hi Heidi!

The Wilderness Lodge is my favorite resort at Walt Disney World, if not in the entire world!  It's fabulous and very relaxing.  It's a Disney Deluxe Resort and includes the services and amenities you would expect from a Deluxe Resort.  If your budget allows, then I would definitely stay there.

If you do, be sure to make an Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) at the Whispering Canyon Cafe.  It's a family restaurant and it is a lot of fun; be sure to ask for ketchup!  If you are looking for a romantic meal, make a reservation for Artist Point.

The Wilderness Lodge has boat transportation to the Magic Kingdom and to the Contemporary Resort and Fort Wilderness.  It's very easy to get to the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review or Mickey's Backyard BBQ from the Wilderness Lodge; you might consider making a reservation at one or the other.

Good luck with your decision and write back if you have any more questions!
