Hey Brittany!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question! With your trip just a week away, I bet you are getting excited to experience the magic and eager to put the finishing touches on your planning, especially with a little Mouseketeer in tow. Let's take a look at your question together.
You are correct that while glass containers are generally not allowed within the Disney parks, there is an exception for glass baby food containers. The
property rules do state that they should be 4oz or smaller, so I would be prepared for that to be the case. This is a security measure to ensure the safety of all Guests if the glass breaks. I know that was not the news you were hoping to hear, but I do hope it's helpful!
I may have some good news for you. As you make your plans, you'll want to take note that there are
Baby Care Centers located in both Disneyland (just at the end of Main Street next to First Aid) and California Adventure (next to
Ghiradelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop). These are wonderful spots to take a break from the park hustle and bustle (and the sun!) to regroup with your little one. Each center offers a full-service facility that is complimentary for Guests, complete with nursing rooms, changing rooms with tables, toddler-sized bathroom facilities, a feeding area with highchairs, and a kitchen with a sink, bottle warmers, and a microwave. Additionally, there are items available for purchase in case you have left anything at home, including baby food, juice, diapers, wipes, over-the-counter medication, etc. The Baby Care Centers are also staffed with the kindest Cast Members around! It truly feels like an oasis for both parents and babies.
Another planning resource for Guests visiting with young families is the new Family Adventure Maps offered as part of the
70th Anniversary Celebration! You can find these on your way into both parks, and they have quick reference guides to attractions, detailing if there are any scary elements, big drops, and more to help caregivers determine if their little one is ready to experience those particular rides. There is also a guide to kid-friendly dining if you have slightly older kiddos in your party.
Brittany, I hope we've set you up for a successful and magical day in the parks! If you have any more questions, we are always happy to help with a friendly tip or two or three here at
planDisney.
Magic awaits!
