Hello Robin and a warm welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel where it's our pleasure to assist you!
As the parent of 4 (now mostly grown) children I can totally relate to perhaps setting aside some valuable '
me' time during a family vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
Firstly I should be honest and say I don't have personal 1st hand experience of utilising any of the
Childcare Services currently on offer to Disney Guests especially the one-to-one
In-Room Baby Sitting service for children aged from 6 months to 12 years old which is given by independent provider
Kid's Nite Out. However I have done a little research on your behalf about
Kids Nite Out via their own website
www.kidsniteout.com about the services provided for families and am happy to share that they do indeed bring along age appropriate toys, games and books etc for Mouseketeers to enjoy! And most importantly
Kids Nite Out state on their website that all caregivers are -
- at least 18 years of age
- are certified in child and infant first aid and CPR techniques
- have been through stringent interviews and screening plus have undergone criminal background checks
- have previous childcare and/or teaching experience
- many caregivers benefit from advanced training or hold a state teaching or CDA certificate
- plus all
Kids Nite Out caregivers have completed the Walt Disney World Resort "
Traditions"program
I hope my findings will reassure and help set your mind at rest, plus I also thought you may find this
Baby Care Centre link to be another useful resource for your families upcoming Disney visit.
Magical wishes!
