Can I take my baby in lines with a height requirement (e.g. guardians) in case she needs to breastfeed, and then let another adult with me in line take her out of line once at the end?

Welcome to planDisney, Shannon!  Thanks for stopping by to bring us your question.

Shannon, first of all, bravo for planning ahead to make sure both you and your little one have a smooth and magical visit! There are so many experiences you will be able to enjoy together with your little one during your visit to the most magical place on earth. Capture it all! You won’t want to forget all the magical memories with your tiny Mouseketeer so you can relive them later when they are older!

My personal experience with bringing a little one through a queue where they don’t meet height requirements is that it will depend on the cast member at the attraction entrance. Officially, all guests entering the queue should be able to ride. However, I have a little one who doesn’t do thrill rides, and when it’s only me and my two kids, without an additional adult to leave her with, I’ve been able to explain the situation to the Cast Member at the entrance, and she’s joined us in the queue, no problem.

However, there are some other galactically great options I can offer where you might be infinitely more comfy with your baby and STILL get to ride! Enter Rider Switch!  This service is the perfect solution for situations like this. With Rider Switch, one adult can wait with the baby while the other experiences the attraction, and then you swap without having to wait in line again. Just let a Cast Member at the entrance know you’d like to use Rider Switch, and they’ll get you set up faster than Rocket can crack a joke!

As for feeding your little Star-Lord (or Star-Lady), you’ll find Baby Care Centers in all four theme parks, including one at EPCOT near the entrance to the World Showcase and next to First Aid. These baby oases offer a quiet, comfortable place to nurse, change diapers, or just take a break from the action. And if you forgot any important baby items, there is a store inside with extras that can be lifesavers when you’re in the middle of enjoying the magic!

I hope this helps answer your question. Be sure to come back to see us if you have any additional planning questions for your upcoming trip.

Wishing you a vacation smoother than the jump points on Cosmic Rewind; no unexpected rewinds, just nonstop fun and magical memories!
