Hi there, Ann!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you are considering booking a Disney Cruise Line vacation with your little one! My two boys went on their first Disney Cruises when they were both under one-year old and the memories from those magical vacations are ones that I will have forever!
I definitely don’t regret taking them when they were that age and I highly recommend that others do too! Disney Cruise Line makes
traveling with little ones super easy and very convenient! From pack-and-plays and diaper pails in your stateroom to the incredible “it’s a small world” nursery! onboard, it’s a trip worth taking if you have the chance. While Disney’s private island,
Castaway Cay, does not have a Baby Care center on the island, I would not let that deter you in making your decision about cruising with Captain Mickey. The ship dock is a short walk or even shorter tram ride away from the main island area and therefore it is very convenient to get back to the ship if you need to take a break, get a nap in or simply forget something onboard! When our boys were little we would often start our morning out at the beach on the island (where they do have an abundant amount of lounge chairs and umbrellas for Guest use) and then head back to the ship as needed. You could even reserve nursery time onboard for your little one and make your way back to the beach for some more fun in the sun while your little Mouseketeer gets their rest.
Once your get your own magical voyage booked, please come back with all your planning questions so we can help make your adventure just as memorable!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
