Is there away to make a payment plan for Disney World?

    Hi Andrea,

It's wonderful to see you here at planDisney, and it's just as wonderful to hear you're planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

While there isn't a formal payment plan per se, you do have some flexibility for how you manage payments when you book a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package that includes your Resort hotel accommodations and your theme park tickets.

You'll always want to review the current Terms and Conditions that are easily viewable as you are ready to finalize your vacation package booking. This will help you get familiar with deposit and payments procedures.

Currently, if you're booking your vacation package 31 days or more before your arrival, the process is that you would pay a $200 deposit for your vacation package. You would then have the flexibility to make payments towards your balance on your own timeframe, with the final payment in full being due 30 days before your arrival.

You could manage making these payments online through the "My Plans" features in your My Disney Experience account. You could also make payments by calling the Walt Disney World Resort at (407) 939-7675 and speaking with a Cast Member.

If you're making your vacation package reservation 30 days or less before your arrival, your payment in full would be due at the time you book the reservation.

If you are booking a room-only reservation, the balance of your payment would be due when you arrive at your Resort hotel.

Andrea, I hope this information is helpful as you look to make your plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort.

Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
