Hi there Peggy,
Welcome to
planDisney! Thanks for asking a question about late check-in - travel times can vary greatly and surprises can pop up and affect the time Guests arrive at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel for check in.
Good news, Peggy, it will not be a problem if you end up checking in after visiting
Disney Springs, your room will be held for you! In the past, my family has arrived on late-night flights and our check-ins were seamless. If you are concerned, you can always connect with Guest Services and add a note to your reservation with your projected arrival time.
Disney Springs is a great place to visit, especially during this holiday season. I highly recommend visiting the
Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll and seeing the many elaborately-themed Christmas trees with a Disney twist! Guests can pick up a map with tree locations at the following locations:
- City Works Eatery & Pour House
- Crystal Arts by Arribas Brotehrs
- Joffrey's Coffee and Tea Company
- The LEGO Store
- The Luxury of Time by Diamonds International
If preferred, Guests can instead download the map here.
Peggy, I hope you have a wonderful vacation at the Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of the year! Enjoy the holiday decorations throughout the Theme Parks and Disney Resorts Collection hotels (be sure to check out the Gingerbread displays at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's Boardwalk Inn, and Disney's Wilderness Lodge). Please revisit us at planDisney if you have any other planning questions, we would love to help!
Enjoy making magical memories,
Candace
