Welcome back to planDisney, Doug!
Since life is sweet here, you’ve got to be here. Naturally.
Although it’s true that even the sturgeon and the ray may get the urge and start to play, we all know the littlest Mousketeers tire out quicker than adult adventurers. My tiny tots always need a break in the park. But let’s face it, planning a trip to Disneyland Paris takes a lot of work, so when they want to rest, I’m thinking, “With such wonderful things around you, what more is you looking for?!”
So let’s dive into some ideas for those younglings to flip their fins without getting too far.
One of my favorite peaceful escapes is near the exit of
Phantom Manor, where you can gaze across the serene lake. But if you’re looking for a hidden gem, the
Frontierland Playground is tucked away from the rivers, offering a surprisingly quiet spot. Littles can dash around on the canoe-shaped slides or rock on spring-loaded wooden horses, while you rest in the natural shade of Frontierland's wilderness trees.
Another favorite for parents is
Café Hyperion in Discoveryland. It has a HUGE indoor theater, and it’s wonderfully dark and calming. Even when the rain pours down, it’s usually nearly empty, with quiet cartoons playing in the background—a perfect spot to chill and recharge.
And if you’re staying at one of the
Disney Hotels they each have a themed children's area near their reception areas with teesny-weensie televisions for the little ones to watch TVs on. For instance, the
Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel has the Marvel Design Studio, a super fun kid’s corner to keep them entertained.
Well, Doug, the lute play the flute, the carp play the harp, the plaice play the bass….and I’ve got to get back to answering questions. If you have any more questions about planning a Disney resort vacation, just
swim on back to me here.
