    I am aware that Disney World's 45th anniversary occurs October 1st 2016, but I was curious as to when the parks would begin to celebrate said anniversary.

    One of my favorite days of the year is October 1 when I can celebrate opening day of one of my favorite places, Walt Disney World Resort. I had so much fun following all of the birthday wishes on social media last week! Plans for a celebration next year have not yet been announced. I would recommend following the Disney Parks Blog as the anniversary approaches for information updates as they become available. The classic 45th anniversary gift is sapphire, so definitely get your sapphire blue shirt ready for anniversary pictures in Magic Kingdom!
