Mary from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have been awarded a DAS pass through the video chat. I have made my two advance selections. I am traveling with non-family members and was told they cannot be added to my pre-selection passes. is this correct?

Greetings, Mary and welcome to planDisney!

I am so pleased to hear that Disney’s Disability Access Service (DAS) was deemed necessary for you, it will make your Walt Disney World Resort theme park touring more convenient, as you will be able to rest, grab a bite to eat, or shop while you wait for your DAS return time. This is such a huge convenience for my son which we greatly appreciate.

Mary, based on my DAS Advance virtual chat and subsequent communications with a Cast Member, I was advised to update my Disney account Family & Friends list to include those in my travel party who hold valid theme park admission and a Disney Park Pass – Theme Park Reservation in order to be on the DAS Guestlist for DAS return time selection. Perhaps this might be the reason why you were told they could not be included? My advice would be to update your Disney account Family & Friends list or contact the DAS Advance team - Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or send an email to disability.services@disneyparks.com.

As well, during your visit, you might wish to stop by any Guest Relations inside any Walt Disney World Resort theme park with all in your travel party to have them be associated or linked to your DAS Guestlist using their valid theme park admission.

The My Disney Experience app now features a DAS self-select feature where you or anyone on your DAS Guestlist may self-select a return time, or you or anyone on your DAS Guestlist may seek a DAS return time at a Guest Experiences booth, or at an attraction entrance that accommodates the DAS. To board the attraction, Mary, you as the registered DAS Guest user must be present.

The DAS Guestlist can accommodate 12 Guests on the app, but only 6 Guests including the registered DAS Guest may request a DAS return time and board an eligible attraction.

Tip – Guests may use the Disney Genie+ service in addition to the DAS. The Disney Genie+ service, a theme park ticket option, will enable you to select an arrival window for attractions that offer a Lightning Lane entrance, thereby saving you time waiting in lines.

Mary, I hope I shed some light on your question about your friends and I hope your visit will be filled with beautiful memories - thank you kindly!
