    Since they are avoiding cash transactions are we able to add Gift Cards to our My Disney Experience account? If so, how do I add them?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rebeca!

    We are all very excited that the Walt Disney World Resort has reopened! I miss going to my happy place and I cannot wait to be greeted by Cast Members with a warm “Welcome Home”!

    I really look forward to exploring enhancements that have been made to technology available via the My Disney Experience mobile app. One of my favorite features has always been Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, which allows you to order ahead at participating locations and pick up your order during a designated arrival window.

    With the recommendation that Guests use cashless transactions during their visit, you can now pay for your meal with a Disney Gift Card while using mobile order service for dining. Access the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device and tap the plus sign at the bottom of the screen. Select “Order Food”, choose an available arrival window at one of the participating locations and proceed with building your order. After selecting items from the menu, tap “View My Order” and if you are ready to place it tap “Review Order Summary”. Scroll down to confirm your order and select “Continue to Checkout” where you will be able to select a Disney Gift Card as a payment method. Tap the plus sign right next to “Add a Card”, select “Disney Gift Card”, enter the 16-digit card number, tap "Save" and finalize your purchase. You will have to provide a card number each time you place an order - the app will not save that information. Please note that only one Disney Gift Card can be applied per order, but the nice thing is that it can be used in combination with another credit or debit card to complete your purchase.

    Moms Panel tip: Disney eGift Cards are also accepted! By using convenient technologies we save time, minimize contact with others and help with social distancing efforts to promote the health and safety of all. Don’t forget to keep the latest version of the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device and keep checking for updates on Walt Disney World Resort operations as you prepare for your visit.
