Have avoided holidays-to annually-3 day hoppers-never hopped with new rule 2:00. Major holidays hard to hop? Can you verify 2nd park has openings / hope you get there before fills up? Park to park buses?

Hello, Denise and welcome back to planDisney! It's so great to see a returning guest planning another Magical visit.

Denise, I love the option to hop to another park and feel like I have two different theme park days in one (or more). Now, let's dive into some specifics about visiting on popular days. First, it's important to know that it is possible that a park will be unavailable due to reaching attendance capacity. Make sure to keep your My Disney Experience Mobile App up-to-date so that you'll receive push notifications if this happens. As major holidays are a more popular time to visit, it is more likely to see park hopping restricted on these days, particularly as the afternoon goes on. For example, New Year's Eve is a popular time to enjoy fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park. It is possible that park hopping could be restricted to Magic Kingdom Park on this day should a lot of guests take advantage of park hopping.

Should you want to enjoy more than one park on a popular holiday, my best advice is to leave your first park at 1:45 PM so that you can be at your next destination as soon as park hopping begins, at 2:00 PM. Bus transportation or the Disney Skyliner is available between parks (when park hopping is not restricted).

Denise, whenever you decide to next visit the Most Magical Place on Earth, I hope you have an unforgettable trip. Please come on back to planDisney with any additional questions.
