Hi there, Russell! Wow! Your visit is just days away! I’m sure you’ve got your “countdown to Disney” started! Being prepared for the weather is an important part of planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
The average high temperature at the
Walt Disney World Resort ranges from about 70 to 75 degrees. The evenings and early mornings can get a little cooler, so a hooded sweatshirt or light coat is always a good idea when heading out to the parks during those hours.
Russell, keep in mind that the Walt Disney World Resort can experience cold too! I just returned from a visit last week. I found that I needed pants and a sweatshirt for most of the time that I was outdoors. Nights dropped into the low 40s and high temperatures were in the 50s and 60s. Now, that was an unusual cold snap, but it was a reminder that even the Most Magical Place on Earth can experience cold weather. Keep in mind that
Walt Disney World Resort hotels do keep spare blankets in your resort room for those cooler nights. I needed to use one last week! Of course, I see that the temperatures will be into the upper 70s and low 80s this week.
I recommend checking the weather for Orlando, Florida a few days before your travel. That will provide you with a rather clear picture of what you can expect at the beginning of February!
Dreams do come true!
