How much is the average taxi fare from the airport to Disney World ?

Hi, Jeff!  From the Orlando International Airport to the Downtown Disney area via taxi is about $50 - before tipping your cab driver.  Branching out to the various resorts or theme parks may add or subtract a couple of dollars, but you can estimate around $50 for much of the Walt Disney World resort area.  The farthest resorts are in the Magic Kingdom area, and they could cost you closer to $60 to reach by taxi.

If you are flying into the airport, you might want to consider Disney's Magical Express.  This complimentary shuttle service will take you to your Walt Disney World resort hotel, and if you arrive prior to 10:00 PM, they will also retrieve your luggage to be delivered later directly to your resort room.  It's so convenient!  We've never had to wait longer than a few minutes for a shuttle.

There are other car services that you will find readily available at the airport, but if you are not using Disney's Magical Express, the taxi may be a less expensive option when compared to private car service.

    Have a great trip!
