On average, how long does it take to eat at a character dining restaurant and a casual restaurant? Trying to plan an itinerary to keep us on track! I love Mom's Panel by the way!

    Hi Heather,

In my experience it usually takes up to an hour for all of the characters at a particular venue to make their way to your table.  This can vary depending upon what time of year it is, and how crowded the restaurant is.  Last week, we enjoyed a character meal at Play n' Dine at Hollywood Studios, and all of the characters made their way to our table within about thirty minutes.  We ate at an "off-peak" time, and got to see everyone twice during our meal.  We also ate breakfast at 'Ohana that same week, and our Disney pals all came by within about fifty minutes.  During Christmas week, we ate at 1900 Park Fare, and it took a full hour for everyone to stop by for pictures and autographs.  Character meals are a wonderful addition to any Disney itinerary.  I hope your family enjoys yours!
