what is the average height for a child to ride the rides? And last it is me, my boyfriend and our 7 yr old daughter going for 5 days, is it better to get a dinning package or just pay for food as we go?

    Hi Sheryl!

I would say that the average height for a child would be about 44 inches to be able to enjoy most of the attractions. We enjoy measuring our children prior to each vacation, just so that we can get an idea of what attractions they will be able to enjoy.

Personally, I like to compare the costs of menu items for some of the restaurants we would possibly like to visit against the cost of the Disney Dining Plan, and make a decision from there. I would suggest basing your decision whether to go with the Disney Dining Plan on our personal meal preferences and what you would like to accomplish during your visit, overall. No matter what you decide, you will make a great decision for your and your family. I hope this helps.

    Have a magical time!
