    What is the average distance walked by a visitor to any of the 4 parks at Disney World in a day?

    Hi Tod!

    Great question! I remember a couple of years ago, I wore my GPS watch in the parks just to see how much walking we did! I totaly forgot it this year when we were there in June and I am sure we walked even farther! When I did have the watch, I do remember that we averaged a good 9 miles per day for the whole trip. Some parks are a little easier to travel such as Magic Kingdom which has small spokes where you can go on a lot of rides all around the same time. Animal Kingdom on the other hand, is a large park where you will have to walk a good bit. I'd say you could walk an easy 11 miles there if you plan to do everything and have to go back and forth between all of the rides and shows.
