Hello, Teresa,
I wish I could share with you a specific number about the
Annual Passholder discounts , but there are so many variables at Walt Disney World. Your resort, dining, and shopping choices each change the amount of savings dramatically. For my family, purchasing an Annual Pass has saved us a considerable amount with park passes as we plan for one trip late June one year then return the next year early June. For us purchasing 5 adult annual passes costs $3482.55 (as of June 2015). In contrast, purchasing 5 adult 7-day theme park tickets with the Park Hopper Option is $2124.70 (as of June 2015). However, we'd need to purchase two sets of these to take two trips, so the total cost is $4249.40. Purchasing Annual Passes saved us nearly $800.
The resort room discounts typically vary between 20% to 35%, which can be a considerable savings. Most dining and shopping discounts are around 10%. However, we always opt to purchase the Tables in Wonderland card, which provides guests with a 20% discount at a large majority of table service restaurants. It does cost $100 (as of June 2015), but with 5 adults, we easily still save money and will use the card for two trips as it is good for one year.
To help see further analysis of the worth of purchasing Annual Passes, I'd do an internet search for the following article:
