    What is the average cost of renting a sea raycer? We will be staying at Pop Century resort, so which resort is the best to visit to rent a sea raycer? Thanks.

    Hi Patricia!  The average cost for renting the wonderful and fun sea raycers is about $30 for a half an hour, although this is subject to change. You must be 12 or above to pilot one with an adult in the boat or 16 and above to pilot it yourself if you have a valid driver's license.

    We have always enjoyed renting these speedy little boats at one of the resorts on Bay Lake or 7 Seas Lagoon because the waterways are so extensive that you can stay out for an hour and not even begin to explore it all.  It is easier to stay away from the other larger boat traffic as well.  Those resorts would be the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, and Fort Wilderness.
