Mark:
The cost of dinner for an adult at
1900 Park Fare is between $39 and $45 currently, tax included, with a child's dinner priced between $19 and $22. The cost difference comes when dining between seasons from regular season to the peak season of holidays and some prices can even vary depending on whether you are eating on a weekday or weekend. The same holds true for Cape May Cafe and its adult dinner prices that are $39 to $60. If you are not going during a peak time of the year like holidays, just know you'll pay toward the lower end of the scale. These prices do not include the 18% gratuity that your large party will also be charged on the total.
When trying to budget for my Disney vacations when we pay out-of-pocket for dining, I typically use the cost of the current dining plan at Disney to help me know how much to anticipate, even though the cost doesn't include gratuities. I have found that we usually stay under this amount. Currently, the cost per adult per day is $60.64 and the cost per child 9 and under is $19.23. Although I don't recommend the
Disney Dining Plan for savings, I do recommend it for larger parties and for budgeting purposes, so if you are staying at a Disney resort and are getting your theme park tickets from Disney, I would recommend considering it for your vacation so that you can budget easily and avoid the awkwardness that some times come when the check arrives at the table with a big party.
Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
