Hello! What is the average amount of time one can expect to spend at a character meal (not including the Royal Table or Akershus)? Thanks! This site is wonderful!

    Erica,
Thanks. I’m glad you are enjoying your visit with the “moms”.

We’ve been to almost all of the character meals and I’ve always found that it takes us about an hour once we are seated.

For example, if we have an 8 a.m. breakfast, we are usually exiting the restaurant by 9 a.m.

If we are running a bit behind because we lingered to see more characters (or re-filled our plates a few times at the buffet), then one of us will stay behind and pay the bill while the rest of our party proceeds to our next attraction or stops at the rest room. If my husband is the only one riding Expedition Everest that morning, then I’ll send him on ahead.

We usually dine with 3-6 people and can pretty much stick to this schedule. However I never worry about hurrying through a meal as it’s a time to enjoy with family and interesting characters!
