Hi Diane,
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is one of my favorite events at the Magic Kingdom (MK)! I've seen toddlers to great-grandparents attend this party & love it! We had a large group there last year & many of the kids were around your daughter's age & they all had a blast. I highly recommend it for everyone especially if you've never been before. I also encourage everyone to get in the spirit & dress up (yes - mom - you too).
MNSSHP requires a separate special event ticket to attend & only those Guests with the special event ticket are allowed to enter or remain in the park when the party begins.
You'll be able to see the Happy HalloWishes fireworks from any place outside MK where you can typically view Wishes. You can not see Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade any place but inside the MK. Honestly, there is so much more to this event other than the fireworks & inside the MK is where I'd want to be.
Disney has not announced the 2011 MNSSHP dates yet. The Disney Parks Blog announced the 2010 MNSSHP & Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party dates on May 21, 2010. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog regarding the official dates as they usually make announcements there. If you're on twitter, follow @DisneyParks & @WaltDisneyWorld. If you're on Facebook, keep an eye on the official
Disney World Facebook page. Once tickets go on sale, you can purchase them online by clicking
here.
Wishing you many spooktacular memories :-) Allison
