    When in 2017 is Avatar land and rides going to be open?

    Hey, Jennifer!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I can't wait for Pandora - The World of AVATAR to open with its state-of-the-art attractions and effects. This is going to be a game changer for Disney fans.

    Currently, our only source of information about this new themed area inside the berm of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is through the Disney Parks Blog. My suggestion is to subscribe to the blog and keep an eye out for any new information. I know I do.

    Disney Dad Tip: If you are planning your 2017 trip and hoping to enjoy Pandora - The World of AVATAR then I would look to September of next year. Not because I have looked into a crystal ball or because I have a secret source. I would plan then because ticket prices and crowds are most tolerable then and Disney Parks likes to have their summer be a blockbuster with new attractions to be operational for the summer crowds. To be clear there is no guarantee that Pandora - The World of AVATAR will even open next year. Walt Disney World Resort is committed to safety and making sure every attraction will be the best experience for the Guest.
