Hiya, Nora. Welcome to
planDisney. Never say never! I’m sorry your dream reservation has been elusive. Let’s check out your options and make a plan.
Like I always say, the early bird gets the reservation for two at
Blue Bayou. My best advice is to set your alarm and be ready. Advanced dining reservations open 60 days before the date you're hoping to book. More specifically, the reservations go live at 6:00 am, Pacific Time. So mark your calendar, set your alarm, and be ready. I'd even say you should do a test run so you know where all the buttons are on the webpage. When the clock strikes 6:00 am, go for it! I see that 60 days before your arrival was October 2nd. I hope you’re there for a multi-day visit, and it’s not too late to attempt the early-bird approach to grab a reservation.
I also suggest stopping by The Blue Bayou on the day of your visit. The host stand usually opens sometime between 10:00 and 10:30 am. Sometimes reservations open up, and you can get lucky! No promises, but maybe your dream will come true.
Nora, I hope you keep at it. It will be that much sweeter when you get that reservation. I know it can be hard, but I believe in you and the magic of the
Disneyland Resort. If you have more questions, don’t hesitate to come back to
planDisney!
I hope you have a magical day!
