Is it available to bring monopod (w/o expenstion) for Gopro camera hand-held? The length is about 0.5ft (15cm).

    Hello, Hyoungjoon!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by to ask us a Disneyland Resort question. I hope you’re getting excited for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, because it’s just around the pixie-dusted corner!

I also love capturing photos and videos to relive my family’s magical vacation memories long after we have arrived back home! Action cameras like the GoPro may be used in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Yes, folding tripod stands or monopod stands that can fit inside a standard backpack are permitted, so feel free to bring yours along. However, please note that selfie sticks and other hand-held extension poles for cameras and mobile devices are on the list of items not permitted in the theme parks and are therefore strictly prohibited.

I hope this answers your question, Hyoungjoon, and that your Disneyland Resort vacation is filled with many picture-perfect moments! Do you have any other planning questions before you set off on your adventure? Please don’t hesitate to write back and ask.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
