Hi Casey. Thank you for your question!
It's always good to get a headstart on planning your vacation and that's exactly what you're doing. I just visited the
Walt Disney World Resort in February and it was a wonderful time to visit. I specifically visited to experience the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts for the first time and I was
not disappointed. The artists around the park, the
Food Studios, and the
Disney on Broadway Concert Series were all spectacular. I highly recommend it. Be sure to check out the
planDisney Podcast episode all about the unique experiences at this festival. And I'm sure my friend
Prince could answer all of your burning questions about it too!
As of writing this answer, 2024 dates are not yet available to book. Currently, you can only book through December 2023. The next year's dates are usually made available in late spring/early summer of the current year so keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for an announcement about when they will go on sale. It will be here before you know it!
While you're waiting, you can start to plan out some of the new experiences you may want to check out. I recently was able to ride
TRON / Lightcycle Run in
Magic Kingdom Park and you will not want to miss it. If you love rollercoasters, this unique one will have you wishing you never have to leave the Grid. Also, toward the end of this year,
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana will be opening in
EPCOT. This immersive walk-through attraction should be both fun and educational. Plus,
EPCOT's multi-year transformation should be complete toward the end of 2023, which means you'll be experiencing EPCOT at its finest when you go. Communicore Hall will be open, which will be the new center for all those amazing festivals, plus a new meet and greet location for Mickey and his friends,
and a chance to meet everyone's favorite imaginative dragon, Figment!
Casey, I hope that you have just as much fun planning your vacation as you do when you finally get to experience it all. There are so many different possibilities that all it takes is one little spark of inspiration!
Feel free to
reach out again if you have any other questions in the future.
A dream can come true with just that spark from me and you,
Matt
