Hi Robert! Welcome to planDisney. As someone who lives in New Jersey, where some of our shore towns were used as inspiration for Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, I jumped at the chance to answer your question.
While
Disney’s Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is my home resort with
Disney Vacation Club, and I love it a lot, if you asked me to pick my absolute favorite
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, it would probably be the BoardWalk. Its location can’t be beat, with the ability to take a boat or walk to both
Disney’s Hollywood Studios and
EPCOT, easy access to the
Disney Skyliner, and some wonderful
restaurant options inside and nearby. And the pool area is one of my favorites. The slide, the pool bar, the theming, it’s just all top-notch.
Availability is always changing, so to check the current availability for this hotel specifically, navigate to
the BoardWalk Inn’s page on the website. Then scroll down and select the blue “Check Availability” button to the right, input your information, and select “Find a Room.” This page will show you current offers and rooms that are available. If you see a room that you’d like, click the blue “Select” button and follow the prompts to complete your booking.
If there isn’t availability at this resort for your specific dates, but you’d like to be in the same resort area, don’t fret. There are a few other options for you to check out. Firstly, you’ve got
Disney’s Beach Club Resort and
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, both right across from the BoardWalk. Then there’s the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, the
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, and the
Walt Disney World Swan Reserve. These are all pretty close to each other.
For similar access to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you’ve also got the option to look at the resorts on the Disney Skyliner, which you can take to both parks. Not to mention, if you get off at the EPCOT Skyliner station, you'll be within walking distance to the resort area of the hotels I've mentioned above. Resorts on the Skyliner line include
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort,
Disney’s Pop Century Resort,
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and
Disney’s Riviera Resort. That last one is stunning, with some amazing food options, beautiful details, and some great views.
Robert, best wishes with planning your boardwalk-inspired getaway.
I’m here for any other questions you may have!
Until the lights come on at the BoardWalk,
