what are the available activities that need reservations for cruise to Bahamas and castaway cay?

Ahoy, Julie! How exciting to see that you're looking on the horizon for all the fun waiting onboard your upcoming Disney Cruise Line voyage! With so many options for exciting activities and so many spaces to explore, it's a great idea to look online at the complete list of Onboard Activities, which vary by ship.

Once you have paid your cruise balance in full and your eligible booking window opens, you'll be able to make reservations online or through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Some popular advance booking experiences include adult-exclusive dining options like Palo Steakhouse or Remy; spa and salon services including Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Pirates League for the younger sailors and Untangled Salon and Senses Spa & Salon for adults; and character greetings like the Royal Gathering, which puts you face to face with all your favorite Disney princesses (this activity is available for booking 30 days before your sailing date). You can also book an Unlimited Digital Photo Package at a discounted rate before your sailing to ensure you bring home all of the memories you capture on board! If you're looking for activities to do while you are in port, you can check out the Bahamas Port Adventures, which are available for booking in advance as well.

Julie, I'll be sailing on the Disney Wish in April to Nassau and Castaway Cay, so I'm happy to share with you some of the activities that my husband and I chose to reserve to enjoy during our cruise:
    • Brunch at Palo Steakhouse: we cannot wait to enjoy the views and cuisine of this elegant dining experience!
    • Mixology: this was one of several Beverage Tasting Seminars available for advance booking; we liked the idea of it being interactive and allowing us to actually make the drinks rather than just being served!
We will be cruising with my two teenage daughters, so this will give us a chance to enjoy some of the adult-exclusive offerings while the girls explore the teen areas of the ship and likely spend most of the day riding the AquaMouse and tanning on deck!

I hope this helps, Julie! There are so many activities to choose from, I'm sure you'll find lots of fun ways to spend your days at sea and in port; if you have any other questions, sail back to planDisney anytime and let us know!

    Adventure Awaits,
    Alison
