    When can we see availability for the Star Wars dessert party for January 2020.

    Hi, Rebecca!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I am a huge fan of fireworks dessert parties!  What could be better than combining sweet treats with spectacular fireworks views?  Since I'm also a huge Star Wars fan, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party is definitely on my list of must-do Walt Disney World Resort activities.

    Unfortunately, the schedules for events such as fireworks dessert parties tend to be a bit unpredictable as to when they are released.  Some of these events are available for booking as far in advance as 180 days, similar to dining reservations.  Other event schedules only become available two or three months in advance.   I would recommend that you keep checking the Walt Disney World website to see when the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party schedule is extended into January.  In the meantime, you can also follow the Disney Parks Blog for all of the latest Walt Disney World Resort news and announcements.

    Rebecca, it sounds like the Force is strong with you, so I'm sure you are planning to check out Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge during your visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios.  You've chosen the perfect time to travel to the planet Batuu, as both of the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge attractions will be open by the time you visit.  I have experienced Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run several times, and I must say that taking control of the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs was a childhood dream come true.  I cannot wait until Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opens!  This attraction promises to be unlike anything we have ever experienced before, putting guests right in the middle of an epic battle with the First Order.
