Hey howdy hey, Deborah! I want to offer you a hearty welcome to planDisney, from one Tennessean to another.
I’m so excited you’re already dreaming about setting sail on the
Disney Destiny this year. The good news is that this stunning new ship is the latest jewel in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, and she’ll make her grand debut with her Maiden Voyage on November 20, 2025. After that, she’ll whisk Guests away on 4- and 5-night adventures from Fort Lauderdale to both The Bahamas and the Western Caribbean. Sounds like the perfect way to escape our Tennessee winters!
While I know it’s a Bibbidi Bobbidi Bummer that the Destiny won’t be sailing yet for your desired departure date in October, I invite you to
explore the Disney Cruise Line website for alternative itineraries. In fact, if you’re really looking to plan ahead, the
new itineraries for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 were just released this week! And if you prefer a personal touch over the online experience when it comes to booking, don’t hesitate to
reach out to a friendly Disney Cruise Line representative for help.
One thing I picked up on in your question is that you’re interested in a
Verandah Stateroom. Speaking from personal experience, that’s my preferred stateroom category. My private verandah might just be my favorite spot onboard. There’s nothing quite like ordering a (complimentary)
room service breakfast, pouring a cup of green tea, and stepping out on my balcony to watch the sun rise over the open ocean. It’s a quiet, magical moment that helps transport me to a whole new world on every sailing.
There’s so much to see, do, and eat on every Disney Cruise, Deborah, but the theming of the Disney Destiny is going to make each of those experiences extra special. I know I can’t wait to set sail with all my favorite Disney heroes and villains, as well as explore all the new iconic adult escapes. And once you book your own adventure, I hope you’ll swim back to us here at
planDisney with any other questions that bubble up!
Embrace the magic,
Sami
