Ahoy and welcome to planDisney, Patricia! It won't be long before you have your course set on the horizon and get to start your adventure.
I am so glad you are planning for all the ways to capture memories from your
Disney Cruise Line vacation. I have a picture mat signed by my favorite Disney characters from a cruise with extended family, complete with a family photo and the original angry bird, Donald Duck. It is one of my favorite souvenirs. There are so many opportunities to meet our Disney pals and royalty on board the ship. During character greetings, you can get your photo taken and ask for autographs.
There are special nights on your 5-Night cruise departing Galveston on April 9. You will have an optional dress-up evening on Day 2 and
Pirate Night on Day 4. On these nights, I find there are usually a lot of character meet-and-greets, and they enjoy dressing up for the theme as well.
You can find the times and locations of
character greetings throughout your cruise on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. You can mark the heart on the app next to the ones you want to go to, and your app will send you reminders. I love Chip and Dale, especially on Pirate Night when they seem to be even more spirited. My friend
Lizzie loves these awesome chipmunks, too. She will also track down Stitch, but you would have to ask her if he gives autographs. Experiment 626 may be better suited for photos, even though we all know Stitch is not bad, he’s fluffy.
Your online pre-arrival check in is just around the corner. You can see the exact date on the Navigator app or online under "Already Booked." Once your window opens, you may want to check the onboard activities to see if your cruise includes any royal invitations to the Princess Gathering, a ticketed event for a special meeting of Disney's most charming, tiaraed ladies.
I hope your cruise has all the character to inspire cheerful days and sentimental memories. If you have any other questions, please come back and ask your
planDisney 'ohana.
