My autistic teen and I will be spending a month at All Star Sports! This means much laundry! I understand that AS Sports has a laundry service. Do you know the cost of their service? Do you know the cost of the coin machines and detergents? Cost v. Luxury?

Wow! A whole month at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort. Yes, I'm jealous.

Take advantage of the coin operated laundry facilities at your resort located near each pool. For about three dollars a load you can wash your own clothes for less than the price to clean one t-shirt if you send out your dirty items. A pair of socks will run you $2.00, pants $6.00, and a t-shirt is $4.00 if you choose the valet laundry service. Soap is available in the laundry rooms for a dollar or two a box, but you can purchase a larger amount for a better cost per load if you plan on staying a month. I have done many a load of laundry at the resorts and the slight hassle is definitely worth the savings over sending out your dirty clothes. Go to a big box store before your trip to stock up on tons of socks and undies and pick up a few souvenir tees in the parks to cut down on how often you have to wash.

Have a magical month at Walt Disney World!
