Hello there, Roberto and welcome to planDisney!
As one of the resident experts on the Panel when it comes to dressing the part for
Star Wars adventures at Walt Disney World, it’s great to hear that you’re planning on purchasing your own Jedi garments of your own to wear! As I roam around Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge I often spot so many Jedi and Sith alike that seem to emerge -
especially during significant celebrations throughout the year - and I'm happy to lend a bit of intergalactic intel to you about where you might be able to find the clothes you're looking for:
My husband and I
dressed up in outfits inspired by Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi on one of our visits to Batuu, and I actually bought his tunic from
Black Spire Outfitters located within the bustling marketplace as well as his belt from
Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities. When you do venture into the theme parks to experience Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge either here at Walt Disney World Resort or over at Disneyland Resort in California, these are the shops you'll want to stop in first to have a look. (As you enter Disney's Hollywood Studios, you might also have some luck at
Mickey's of Hollywood on Hollywood Boulevard where Star Wars merchandise and select outfits have sometimes been spotted.)
Though neither are necessarily branded as being authentically inspired by Obi-Wan Kenobi's outfit from Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, both of these items were also
previously available to purchase online as well as
a distinctive brown, hooded robe, and you may be lucky if they end up back in stock on the Disney Store website. Outside of the theme parks you can also stop by locations in Disney Springs such as
Star Wars Galactic Outpost or
Star Wars Trading Post, where just this evening I was able to find more brown robes in a variety of sizes alongside
other styles of tunics available to purchase.
Personally, some of the best looks I've seen were crafted or pulled together with various pieces by their very resourceful wearers and there are even communities online for fellow spacefaring folks who are eager "Batuu-bounders" if you'd like to connect with others and see where they were able to acquire their garments. In the meantime, don't hesitate to come back to planDisney to seek out more of our advice or answers to anything else ahead of your upcoming adventures.
Wishing you all the best on your well-dressed Jedi quest and May the Force be with you always!
