Well ahoy there Monique, and welcome to planDisney!
Since living and working in Australia myself, I absolutely love being able to connect with folks and families on the other side of the Pacific Ocean as they plan their Disney adventures around the world. With the upcoming debut of the
Disney Magic at Sea voyages from Australia and New Zealand, so many of my friends and neighbours are excitedly looking forward to finally being able to hop onto a Disney Cruise Line vessel without needing to fly to another continent!
You'll be happy to hear that I reached out to the Disney Cruise Line team this week and the website has now been updated! In fact, as of September 13, 2023 the official
Requirements for Cruise Passengers Visiting Australia and New Zealand have been recently brought up to date to reflect the current national health guidelines. While protocols and policies are always subject to change without prior notice, soon-to-be sailors should always keep an eye out for any changes prior to their embarkation date as they prepare their
required travel documentation.
Since I fondly consider the
Disney Wonder to be my home ship, I'm excited to see whether any changes to the offerings on board will take place to better suit a shift in overall demographics sailing from a different part of the world! In the meantime, I recommend that every future seafarer should take a peek at the
planDisney Pocket Guide to the Disney Wonder and stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog in case there are any further updates before the first Disney Magic at Sea sailing. Come on back to planDisney
any time you'd like tips, tricks or even a dose of nautical knowledge ahead of your next voyage!
Here's to the start of delightfully Disney adventures Down Under!
