Hello from Australia. We are hoping to book pop century but our flight is arriving around 12 at night .Which date do I book for , do I have to book the room the day before or the actual day we arrive . We won't get to the hotel until 1am . Please help

Hello from America. You are going to be blown away by Walt Disney World! During the eleventh or twelfth hour of your flight you might need to remind yourself that a magical vacation is only hours away.

International arrivals are always tricky due to the long plane flights and time differences. If you are arriving at your resort at 1:00am on Monday the 2nd the only way to guarantee a room is to make your reservation start on Sunday the 1st. I highly recommend you do this since the alternative is to have a room that might not be available until afternoon check in on the 2nd. Disney resorts tend to be full so the odds of a room being available in the wee morning hours of the 2nd are quite low. Having a room ready where you can immediately lie down when you arrive from a long international flight is worth a great deal, especially if you are traveling with children. When my family has traveled overseas we've had to pay for a full night in hotels when we only used two hours of our first night's reservation. The expenditure was worth every penny.

Please contact me if you have additional questions about Walt Disney World or jet lag!
