We are from Australia and this is our first holiday to the US. Can you pls tell me how much would it cost for a 10 day trip for a family of 3 adults and 2 children including cost of tickets for all parks, dining and accommodation. Is 10 days enough.

Would you settle for a price range, Vivienne?  There are so many variables in every vacation that it can be tough to nail down a price point.  The time of year you visit, the resort you stay in, and the ages of your children are all factors that will raise or lower that final figure.  That said, I can give you a ballpark figure.  All of the following scenarios assume that you have two children under the age of ten and that you intend to visit Walt Disney World during the summer season.

For a budget trip, you might stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort and take advantage of the quick-service dining plan.  You'd skip the park hopper option and save money by not visiting any extra at-cost venues such as the water parks, DisneyQuest, or the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. = $3750

For a more middle-of-the-road trip, you might opt to spend your ten nights at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.  Instead of eating all of your meals at counter-service locations, you would eat at both counter-service and table-service restaurants.  And you'd add the ability to park hop. = $5,100.

For the ultimate splurge, you might stay at a monorail hotel--let's say, Disney's Polynesian Resort.  You'd upgrade your dining plan to the granddaddy of them all, the Disney Deluxe Dining plan which offers the ultimate flexibility with how and where you want to use your credits.  You'd also add the water park and more ticket option (in addition to the park hopper).  = $8,750.

As you can see, there is a lot of wiggle room with regard to pricing your dream vacation.  The fun part is combining just the right components to create a trip perfect for your family and budget  Do keep in mind that the above figures are purely estimates and might vary depending on the factors I mentioned.  The good news, though, is that it can be done, Vivienne.  And we're here to help.  Please let us know if you have further questions!
