Auntie M, YaYa (grandmother) & Mom Carrie want to bring Sophia - 2-1/2 yrs old. Where do you suggest we stay? We will fly to Orlando. Do we have to rent car? What packages do you suggest? We are not interested in gormet dining- only happy memories.

Hi Marilyn! I'm totally in agreement with you that happy memories are the most important part of a Disney vacation!

I would definitely recommend that you consider staying at one of the more than 20 onsite Disney resort hotels. You just can't beat the convenience of a guest room in the heart of the magic! Onsite guests receive free round-trip airport transfers via Magical Express motor coach as well as monorail, boat or bus transportation to the theme parks so, you won't need a rental car (or driving directions). Be sure to check out this additional special benefit called Extra Magic Hours that will provide you with extended time in the theme parks in the morning or evenings when the attraction wait times are shorter and the weather is cooler.

Any of the Magic Your Way Vacation Packages offer flexible accommodation, ticket and dining plan options to fit everyone's budget. If you are most interested in counter service meals, than the Quick Service Dining Plan would probably best suit your needs. With a 2 year old and a grandmother in tow, you might wish to consider a dining plan that includes at least one table-service meal per day for time to rest and recharge with your travel party. My family especially enjoys character meal experiences!

Thanks for taking the time to visit us at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your trip! May your Disney vacation be practically perfect in every way!
