    Hi, my aunt wants to book us a hotel on property for my sons birthday gift. It only allows her to put down a deposit but not pay the full amount. Since she won’t be traveling with us, are we still able to use her card for remaining at check in?

    Hey there, hi there, Shylena! Welcome to planDisney. You've sent us a great question and I have to say what a fabulous gift your aunt is giving your son for his birthday!

    Your aunt should still be able to book a Disneyland Resort Hotel reservation for you and make the initial down payment. After the reservation is made and the down payment is paid,  your aunt should be able to call the Reservation line and pay the remaining balance prior to your arrival or give instructions to charge the card on file. 

    I noticed your arrival date and am excited to share with you that today Disney Parks Blog shared that the holiday season will officially start on November 11, 2022, at Disneyland Resort! You will be arriving at just the right time to start getting into the holiday spirit. I'm so excited about the return of Disney Festival of the Holidays and the Sip and Savor Pass to enjoy all the marketplace bites and drinks! Our family loves getting to experience how everyone celebrates the holidays all over the world. It was also announced that World of Color will be getting holiday treatment with World of Color - Season of Light and who could forget a Guest-favorite overlay, Haunted Mansion Holiday over at Disneyland Park.
