Hi Elizabeth,
My family and I recently visited Walt Disney World, and we truly enjoyed the time that we spent at the
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
Be sure to pick up a "Happy Birthday" button for your aunt when you arrive at Epcot on her birthday. The rest of your party can pick up "I'm Celebrating" buttons. These are available free of charge at Guest Relations and other locations throughout Walt Disney World. While you are taking in the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, cast members and other guests alike will know that you are celebrating. I also suggest that you plan a special meal for your aunt's birthday at Epcot on the day that you visit. There are many lovely settings around World Showcase. Perhaps an outdoor table at the Rose & Crown Dining Room would be nice, or a busting meal at Chefs de France. Be sure to indicate on your reservation when you make one that you are celebrating a birthday, and let the cast members know when you arrive. Although nothing is guaranteed, you never know when a little extra pixie dust may be sprinkled on your vacation.
If your aunt is very interested in flowers and gardens, perhaps you could treat her to one of the
tours at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, which would allow you to go more deeply into specific aspects of the festival. On the weekends, you can also explore the Festival Center for the
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. There are many interesting demonstrations and presentations there.
Please let us know if you have any further questions, Elizabeth!
