Hi Nicole,
I love Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas. Whether you are staying at Kidani Village or Jambo House, both are absolutely beautiful.
I called and spoke with a cast member at Disney Vacation Club Member Services, who told me that you should be able to link the resort reservation using the reservation number that your aunt and uncle receive from Disney Vacation Club. If you have not done so yet, make yourself an account on
My Disney Experience. Then, you can link the reservation and should be able to access it. Be sure that you are listed as a member of the traveling party on the reservation.
I suggest that you take some time to explore the resort. Your little ones may enjoy looking at the exotic animals from the many windows and overlooks at the resort. Also, check out the
pool areas at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. At Jambo House, check out the Uzima Pool. At Kidani Village, you can partake in the Samawati Springs Pool, with the nearby water play area of Uwanja Camp, which has an area for the littlest of children.
My other tip would be to take advantage of the kitchen in your Disney Vacation Club Villa. With children as little as yours, being on the go and eating out three meals a day can be exhausting. My family always eats one or two meals a day in our villa. Something as simple as cereal for breakfast before you start your day or macaroni and cheese for dinner and then off to an early bedtime at the end of the day can be wonderful with toddlers.
I hope that this gives you some ideas for your vacation, Nicole. Have a wonderful time planning, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
