Hi, Brenda! Thanks for stopping by to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I'm so glad you asked us this question because I do want to give you the lowdown on how Walt Disney World's Florida Resident Ticket Program works. I'd hate for your aunt to buy you tickets only to find you can't use them when you arrive. So, here's the scoop:
Florida Resident Tickets are available for purchase online, but before the tickets can be activated and used to enter a Theme Park, all adults planning to use them will need to
show proof of Florida residency at the ticket window or Guest Relations location. Each adult needs his or her own Florida ID, so your aunt would not be able to use her ID for the entire group. If you have any kids under age 18, your aunt can buy Florida Resident Tickets for them, but she would need to be present and show her proof of residency to activate those tickets.
Brenda, there may be some other
Special Offers you can take advantage of, like the
Summer One World Ticket, which lets you visit each of the Theme Parks plus both Water Parks. If you're planning a shorter stay, you can head over to the
Admission and Tickets page and select your dates to purchase tickets for your visit.
I'm sorry I didn't have better news for you, Brenda. I hope this helps you find the ticket option that works best for your family. Please do stop by and see us again if you have any more questions. We're always here to help!
