Hey there, Desiree! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
So I've been trying to claim the title of "Coolest Aunt Ever," but it sounds like your aunt wins by a mile! How fun that she's gifting you tickets to the Walt Disney World Resort. I just know you'll have a magical time, and you'll have your cool aunt to thank!
I don't know what kind of complimentary tickets your aunt has, so I can't say for sure what restrictions may be attached to them. I'd start by going into
My Disney Experience to see if you can link the tickets to your account. If you can get them linked, you should be able to use them. You might want to
give Guest Relations a call to find out more about your specific tickets and what requirements they may have.
Florida Resident tickets may be purchased online, but they need to be activated at Guest Relations before first use, and all adults planning to use Florida Resident tickets must show
proof of residency at that time. If you have children under 18, your aunt can buy tickets for them, but she'd need to show proof of residency in person to activate them.
Once you have your tickets taken care of, it will be time to start making
FastPass+ selections for your favorite attractions! If you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can make them 60 days in advance of your stay. Since you're coming in June, that's only a few days away!
Desiree, I hope this helps you plan a magical Walt Disney World vacation with your family. Please come see us again if you have any more questions. And tell that cool aunt of yours I said hello!
