Welcome to planDisney! Sometimes I see the deals that Florida residents get and am blown away by how fabulous they are. Sunshine and discounted tickets for Walt Disney World make it very tempting to move. But alas, I am staying here for a little while longer and living vicariously through you.
The current special offer for Florida residents is called
Disney Summer Magic Tickets. The only eligibility requirement is that you need to be a Florida resident. These tickets can be purchased at any time and can be used between
May 16 and September 29, 2023. This won't work for your family as you wish to visit in December. I'm hoping that as soon as we hit the midway point of summer we will start to see some Fall/Winter deals start coming out. The exact timing is still secure in the Disney vaults. You can make your
Theme Park Reservations at any point after tickets are purchased. They don't need to be "activated." I have seen the Theme Parks reach capacity in December and around the holidays so make sure that as soon as the tickets are purchased you make your theme park reservations.
They just announced on the blog some
fun events that will be happening during your visit! There will be a new Nighttime Holiday Park at Disney's Hollywood Studios called
Disney Jollywood Nights that looks amazing! Tickets will be available in the next few weeks for these special events and I highly recommend you check them out! Walt Disney World parties are pretty amazing.
