Hello there, Kristine!
It will be love at “frost” sight the first time you see the Walt Disney World Resort decorated for the holidays. There’s “snow” much to look forward to when Queen Elsa decorates the
Resort for the holidays.
Kristine, unfortunately, you’ll need to “let [this plan] go” because only people currently residing in Florida can take advantage of the
Florida Resident discounts. Any Guests planning to use a Florida Resident ticket will need to show
valid proof of residency at the theme park entrance to activate their ticket if they are over the age of 18. Similarly, any Guests who are under the age of 18 will need a guardian present to show their proof of residency in order to activate their tickets.
I know the pain since my sister is a Florida resident, and I’m always so jealous that she gets to pop into the theme parks for a quick afternoon coffee or evening cocktail. Kristine, have you seen the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts website? At the moment, there are deals for Disney Water Parks, Disney+ Subscribers, and Annual Passholders. I also always like to check the
Disney Parks Blog for all of the latest news and promotions.
I know the theme parks are spectacular during the holidays, but I always enjoy making a stop at the Disney Resort hotel lobbies during the holiday season. For example, some of the Resort hotels offer gingerbread goodies and decorations that are absolutely worth a visit.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
