Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sheri!
As one of the military moms here on the Panel, I’d like to thank your aunt’s husband for his service to our country. I’m so appreciative of the fantastic discounts offered to our service members when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort – in my opinion, there is no better place for together time!
I just ordered
Military Promotional theme park tickets from
Shades of Green last week, and they truly make the process so easy. Just to clarify, the military sponsor or their spouse (with valid and active military ID) must be present when the tickets are used. If you’re not planning to use the ticket to enter a theme park (since you have a current
Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass), you’ll likely be asked to show the military ID in order to activate the ticket so it can be applied to your Annual Pass renewal. I just wanted to make sure you’re aware of the ID requirements in advance – you can read those requirements in the
fine print of the military ticket offer, and there is a waiver your aunt’s husband will need to sign when he purchases the tickets from Shades of Green that states the military member or spouse will be with the party using the tickets.
I checked with a Cast Member, who confirmed that the value of a Walt Disney World ticket can be used toward an Annual Pass renewal, as long as there is at least one unused day remaining on the ticket. You can bring the ticket to a Guest Relations window to complete the renewal. I recommend
calling the Annual Passholder Support Cast Members at (407) 560-7277 if you have any questions about this process.
Sheri, have the BEST time this November at the Walt Disney World Resort. There is so much
holiday magic in the air all around the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs, and I hope you have so much festive fun. If you have any further questions as you plan and dream, please come back and see us.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
