Aloha!
Welcome home!
It’s great to see you again, Denise! Your trip will be here before you know it. My husband and I were just saying today how we plan to use our Vacation Points to enjoy a stay at
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, once the kids are a little older. It really is one of the best parts of being a
Disney Vacation Club Member - having the flexibility to stay at lots of different resorts, at the time that is right for you and your family.
We love a lazy river and can often be found drifting along the one at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park during our Walt Disney World holidays. At Aulani, you’ll love the
Waikolohe Stream. With several entrances to this relaxing attraction, you’re never far from Mama’s Snack Stop, Off the Hook, or Lava Shack if you fancy a snack!
While you won’t find lockers in the pool area, your room will be nearby. If you’d like to enjoy the pool on your arrival day, you can leave your belongings with the helpful Cast Members at Bell Services.
Whenever we stay at a Disney resort, we always request a higher floor. We prefer a balcony to a garden terrace, as terraces don’t tend to contain our toddlers very well! The trade-off for being higher up is that you might be a little farther from the lobby and need to use the lifts more often. The great thing about Aulani is that with a
Garden View Deluxe Studio, you’ll enjoy beautiful views of the lush landscaping, and some rooms may even have a partial view of the luau. Keep in mind that room requests can’t be guaranteed, but I actually quite like that element of surprise!
I hope this helps to answer your question today, Denise. If you have any more vacation planning questions, please
reach out to us anytime here at planDisney.
See ya real soon!
